The best way to alleviate stress initially is by lowering our heart rate which causes our brain to release endorphins which, in turn, causes the cortisol levels in our body to decrease. This is typically done by exercising, taking a number of deep breaths, listening to music that brings a calming feel. Another way is to make it a priority to get a good night’s sleep.
