Avi Weisfogel proudly has established a GoFundMe account to assist Operation Smile, an international medical charity providing for free surgical procedures for children and young adults. This charity particularly helps children and young adults who suffer from cleft palate, cleft lips and other facial deformities.
Operation Smile provides hundreds of clinics every year to medically needed areas where they often have to import medical equipment or medical expertise. While focusing on empowering local organizations to care for their own people, the organization also helps by researching how surgical procedures can be delivered more effectively and safely. Finally, the organization focuses on providing the latest research to parents and medical providers around the globe. That is why Avi hopes to raise $2,000 with his campaign.
After receiving training in dentistry, Avi opened a dental practice in New Jersey. As he studied what many of his patients shared in common, he realized that the art of dentistry needed improvement so he created Dental Sleep Masters. This innovate program combines high levels of education and clinical support with an innovative business model allowing dentists and other medical professionals to see more patients each month. Naturally, this increases their revenue while still providing patients with the level of care that they deserve.
Dental Sleep Masters works by helping dentists and other medical professionals focus on patients who should be identified with sleep apnea but who are often misdiagnosed or who do not receive adequate care according to the American Academy of Sleep Medicine recommendations. When dentists follow the model, they start by receiving education and then move on to learning the business model taught by Avi Weisfogel, Doctor Gerald Weisfogel and Doctor Kent Smith. This business model is often taught at retreats so that dentists can interact with their peers. Then, dentists can further enhance their training through one-on-one coaching and on-site visits.
